Job DescriptionJob Description

Entech’s construction materials testing (CMT) team regularly provides materials testing and observations for a wide variety of projects including residential and commercial developments, luxury custom homes, production model homes, multifamily structures, industrial buildings, municipal bridges and roadways, municipal facilities, and utility infrastructure. Construction materials engineers will review moisture-density compaction, concrete testing, asphalt testing, reinforcing inspections, and drain inspections. Entech’s CMT team takes an active role in projects including attending site meetings, visiting sites regularly, and coordinating with project owners and contractors.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) Licensed in Colorado
  • 4+ years of experience as a Construction Materials Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate testing projects with project owners, engineering teams, and developers
  • Review materials testing data reports
  • Review project specifications and applicable city or county specifications for projects
  • Manage projects: budgets, schedules, client contacts, and internal staff
  • Perform site observations as necessary
  •  Coordinate with clients and prepare proposals
  • Lead, mentor, oversee, and/or supervise field technicians
