Job Summary:

Envision Construction is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Construction Project Manager to support our Project Management team in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Support:

  • Assist the Construction Project Manager in planning and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and budgets.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Track and report on project progress, highlighting any potential issues or delays.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting regular project status reports to senior management.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all parties are aligned with project goals.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.

Resource Management:

  • Assist in the management and allocation of project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor and track project expenditures to ensure adherence to budget.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Help implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
  • Experience with residential or commercial construction projects preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications:

  • OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work on construction sites in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as necessary to meet project deadlines.


**MUST HAVE GROUND UP BUILDING EXPERIENCE MANAGING ALL TRADES FOR THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR
