Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team full-time. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, including design-bid-build projects, tenant improvements, new construction, renovations and remodels, and retail construction. This role involves leading the project team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to project managers, assistant project managers, and site coordinators. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all departmental projects, leading the entire project team, and ensuring all goals are met. This is an in-office position with limited travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all project activities to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee design-bid-build projects, tenant improvements, new construction, renovations and remodels, and retail construction.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, training, and mentorship to project managers, assistant project managers, and site coordinators.
  • Lead the entire project team, ensuring all departmental projects are successfully overseen and all goals are met.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure project standards are maintained.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Travel as needed for site visits and client meetings, with limited travel requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a senior project manager role.
  • Extensive experience with commercial construction projects, including design-bid-build, tenant improvements, new construction, renovations and remodels, and retail construction.
  • Proven experience managing projects over $5 million.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.
