Job Description

Tribal One Construction, a leading construction company in Colorado Springs and Greenwood Village, CO, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a senior construction project manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and coordination to execution and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Oversee project communications with owners, subcontractors, architects, designers, suppliers, and project personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets using accounting software.
  • Manage and mentor project engineers and junior project managers to become senior project managers.
  • Coach and train junior members of the company in project execution processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency-specific regulations.
  • Participate in proposal creation and estimating to determine project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage and coordinate with contracting officers, end customers, and vendors.
  • Travel to job sites to check quality, contract compliance, and meet with customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager for a general contractor specializing in federal government projects.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects (preferably $5MM+ projects).
  • Experience managing multiple projects with employees in multiple locations nationwide.
  • Experience implementing Contractor Quality Control System Management Plans.
  • Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency-specific regulations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain project budgets using accounting software.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore).
  • OSHA 30 and EM Training.
  • Ability to successfully pass and remain in compliance with required background checks.
  • Valid driver's license.
