$20/$22 Hour Depending on Experience
Part-time for 20 hours/week
About the Job
Our small Property Management Company is located in Long Beach and currently has an exciting opportunity available for an Office Support Assistant to step in and oversee our 250 units located primarily in Long Beach. We own and manage apartments, condos and houses since 1990. The position is available immediately.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Greet customers.
• Answer phone calls.
• Handle correspondence.
• Manage tenant and owner requests.
• Ensure maintenance requests are handled timely and effectively.
• Manage property projects.
• Support accounts payable and collaborate with vendors.
• Maintain monthly filing system.
• Maintain regular daily office hours: Mon-Fri 9:30am-5pm (20 hours part-time).
Qualifications and Requirements:
• PROFESSIONAL, DEPENDABLE and PUNCTUAL at all times.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some property management, basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge beneficial.
• Appfolio accounting software experience a plus.
• Need excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must have analytical ability, problem solving and organization skills.
• Able to perform in a busy and changing work environment.
• Can work independently with strong time management skills.
• Friendly, team player and out-going personality.
• Bi-lingual a plus, but not required.
