POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide the company with value-added support and analysis to achieve budget goals and support continuous improvement activities relating to Finance and Accounting. Serves as a key administration resource for JetzStream, the company’s proprietary route revenue/commission software. Role in accounting transactional processing, troubleshooting, and review.

Core Responsibilities:

 

· Member of exclusive team responsible for data maintenance of JetzStream, the company’s proprietary route revenue and commission software.

 

· Understands and documents business processes within the operating system; serving as a JetzStream focus resource/contact.

 

· Manages customer maintenance database activities within JetzStream and DocuWare.

 

· Liaisons with key resources in Sales and Management as well as external route commission customers.

 

· Assists monthly commission (rent) process.

 

· Assists to verify commission check reissues are calculated correctly, previous issues are voided, and appropriate accounting entries are completed.

 

· Key resource for review and troubleshooting of accounting transactions in accounting system (Sage/Acumatica) related to route commissions.

 

· Creates and maintains route commission vendors in Sage/Acumatica.

 

· Processes direct deposit details of commission vendors in Sage/Acumatica.

 

· Drive improvement activities JetzStream to reduce transactional costs and increase value-added reporting capabilities to the company.

 

· Liaisons with external auditors and CFO in facilitating year-end financial statement audit.

 

· Participation in cross-functional teams and special projects, as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

§ Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience in a service or related industry

§ Strong working knowledge of MS Office software applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)

§ Ability to research and resolve general ledger accounting issues, while working with different parties (finance staff and budget owners)

§ Ability to perform detailed analysis of expense accounts and account reconciliations

§ Ability to multi-task and work efficiently to meet deadlines

§ Strong attention to detail

§ Effective communication skills

§ Ability to work with cross-functional areas in a teamwork environment

§ Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation towards completing work assignments

§ Ten-key by touch

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· Experience with ERP applications (such as Sage or Acumatica or SAP or Microsoft Dynamics or Great Plains).

· Proven experience in general ledger accounting

· Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
