Job DescriptionJob Description

ZimZee Recruiting is looking for a Sr. Account Manager for our Aerospace client in the Midwest. This is a technical sales position, and the ideal candidate will have strong technical and sales acumen, with a history of exceeding quota.

This role focuses on building and nurturing existing relationships with senior-level decision-makers and influencers at customers' organizations and hunting for new business. Ideally, you should have strong aviation experience, but my client will consider technical reps outside of this industry.

Skills and Requirements

  • degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • years of technical sales experience, focused in account management.
  • understanding of the aviation industry and its dynamics, but not required.
  • negotiation and persuasion skills to drive successful outcomes.
  • communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • to analyze complex information, solve problems, and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • to travel 50%
  • leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop the performance of Regional Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives and decision-makers at customer organizations.
  • mentorship, guidance, and training to Regional reps to enhance their performance and skills.
  • as a customer portfolio manager, identifying and leading initiatives to address gaps in the current portfolio.
  • customer contact plans with other team members to ensure successful and impactful customer visits.
  • ability to hunt for new business within current customer accounts
