- GPO management

 

Overall work includes:

· Directing the overall procurement and supply chain operations through the purchasing of materials, selection of vendors, inventory management, and distribution to ensure maximum value to the organization from GPO and distributors.

· Utilizes materials management information systems data to provide comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis for regional providers.

· Through data analytics, anticipates the organization’s needs and plans for supply chain disruption.

· Mitigates risks associated with procurement, logistics and distribution activities.

· Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal policies related to supply chain management.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience/Education/Certifications:

· 7+ plus years of healthcare supply chain experience

· Bachelor’s degree required

· ERP implementation experience preferred

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· In-depth knowledge of supply chain management best practices, procure to pay processes, value analysis implementation and understanding of contract administration. Experience with orthopedic durable medical equipment highly preferred.

· Demonstrated ability of successfully building high functioning supply chain teams.

· Knowledge of program management methodologies to drive operational, quality, and financial performance improvement.

· Knowledge of Supply Chain practices and innovations, industry, technical and business developments.

 

Location:

This position allows flexibility to work both in office and remotely. The incumbent will be expected to be available for periodic travel to OrthoVirginia locations or for business travel to other locations.
