Position Summary: The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Strategy & Analytics will lead a team of analysts dedicated to enhancing CarMax's operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in shaping our approach to vehicle acquisition, logistics, and reconditioning processes, ensuring we meet the demands of both retail and wholesale markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of professional growth within the Supply Chain Strategy team, enhancing engagement and development.
  • Influence the strategic direction of the organization through analytical insights and collaborative efforts.
  • Work alongside business leaders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurable objectives.
  • Collaborate with operations and technology executives to develop a comprehensive multi-year strategic roadmap.
  • Guide the team in addressing complex analytical challenges and implementing change initiatives effectively.
  • Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive consensus and action.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a strategic or analytical capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees in analytical fields are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in large-scale data analysis, preferably using SQL.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of analysts.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex ideas and influence decision-making.
