This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic office environment, supporting both our financial and administrative operations.
Duties:
- Assist with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable, and manage invoice processing.
- Prepare financial reports, including expense reports and budget documents.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries related to financial matters.
- Prepare, edit, and organize financial correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Manage the filing of both physical and electronic financial documents.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts, handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Undertake additional clerical and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an accounting-focused role with strong administrative skills.
- Proficient with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with superior problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Prior experience in similar roles such as an Administrative Assistant, Accounting Clerk, or Office Manager is highly advantageous.
