POSITION:               National Accounts Manager

BASIC FUNCTION

The National Accounts Manager reports directly to the President and CEO, is accountable for growing sales in North America and for developing and managing new distributor opportunities in North America, engaging with large glove distributors, to assist in developing new business at large multi-location accounts.

The position also is responsible to engage with select Fortune 500 companies’ diversity managers to leverage our women- and minority-owned status with key decision-makers.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·                Build SW Sustainability Solution’s brand and private label business in North America, through key distributor partners, and pull through efforts at key end-users.

·                Work with marketing department to develop North American Sales & Marketing materials and programs necessary to successfully gain distributor support and drive end-user successes. (i.e.: joint marketing plans, training programs, rebate programs, technical services, customized literature)

·                Work closely and develop a strong relationship with distributors, develop a joint strategy for growing SW business with national accounts. (include list of target accounts, pain points, product usage)

·                Respond to and develop all new North America opportunities. Work closely with Customer Service and China team to determine FOB & DDP pricing quotes. Engage quarterly with existing customers to determine new opportunities, needs and present new products.

·                Grow SW business with multi-location end-user accounts by leveraging SW Safety Solutions woman and minority owned benefits. Engage and maintain a minimum of 5 active opportunities.

·                 Keep customer records, opportunities, contacts, and activities up to date in the Sales Force.

·                Utilize National Shows as a platform to meet with potential sponsors. Work with President and CEO to establish presentation and program to attract customers for initial engagement.

·                Participate and contribute to sales leadership meetings and monthly updates. Deliver sales reports and project assignments complete and on time.

·                Assist President and CEO in new business development and new product testing by identifying end-user test sites, managing product test feedback and provide customer feedback to sales and marketing on product modifications.

·                Negotiate contracts with these corporate accounts.

·                Manage P&L of these nation accounts.

 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

 

To effectively fulfill the above responsibilities, the National Account Manager should possess the following skills, knowledge, and business experience:

·                College degree required. General and project management, marketing, and financial experience preferable.

·                Minimum 5 years’ experience in field sales with success and experience at working with corporate and/or large end user accounts. Solid background in industrial health and safety preferred, but not required. Marketing background or experience is preferred. Solid business acumen necessary.

·                Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·                Strong organizational, planning, computer, and administrative skills necessary.

·                Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills needed to interface with key corporate representatives.

·                Strategic account experience with top-volume wholesalers and retail accounts required.

·                Track record of ethical and professional performance in previous job experiences.

·                Significant experience or proven ability to negotiate with and sell to high-level corporate officers and senior decision-makers.

·                50% travel to customer and SW locations.
