Then this could be the job for YOU Third Party commercial real estate/property management firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist to build business for their third-party portfolio. Company provides excellent coverage of health benefits, solid retirement benefits, solid bonus program, and personal development. Portfolio specializes in retail properties and provides a high level of customer focus.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing business development plan
  • Contacting building ownership and partnership groups
  • Identifying markets to contact potential clients
  • Evaluating and analyzing costs to provide accurate estimates to prospective clients
  • Preparing client presentations
  • Preparing strategies and marketing plans on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Gaining understanding of client needs and desires to market services
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Cold-calling and visiting clients to follow up on potential business
  • Suggesting new initiatives to service clients
  • Continually reviewing the market for potential new leads and remaining knowledgeable about potential changes

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of commercial property management/RE experience in business development
  • Proven history of successfully building third-party portfolios and developing/mentoring a team
  • BA or BS ideal
  • NY Real Estate License preferred
  • Strong financial knowledge/experience
  • CPM or RPA qualified
