Location: Seattle, WA 98119

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Pay range: $85/Hr to $94/Hr on W2

Job Description:

Please provide 2-3 values or traits that are important to this role:         

  • Understand and participate in the software development lifecycle (from idea generation to bringing a product to market by supporting the different phases and improving product performance) and how various Agile engineering practices can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing).
  • Develop project schedule, define timeframe, and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.
  • Builds the basic structure of a program (possibly from scratch) that may include: Business case, prioritization alignment, team engagement, identifying a sponsor, identifying stakeholders, 'sales' pitch to leadership, budget, etc.
  • Identify the type of resources required to support a project, and make recommendations for specific people, technology, partners, etc.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a technical program manager.

Please list 3-4 functional activities the resource should be capable of :             

  • Working with geographically spread out cross functional teams like product management, technology, operations, machine learning science, analytics to execute on and drive the delivery of solutions that aim at reduction of Fraud.
  • Ability to run large scale planning exercises across the org.
  • Ability to work closely with tech to review and contribute to the solution designs.
  • Ability to manage and contribute to multiple simultaneous programs.
  • Detail out functional and non-functional requirements, starting with very ambiguous problem statement.

What technical skills will successful candidates possess:  

  • Ability to understand, review and contribute to technology solutions, design and architecture.
  • Ability to understand and capture non-obvious non-functional requirements

Is there any industry specific experience that would separate one candidate from another:

  • Candidates with experience in the e-commerce Fraud & Risk domain are preferred.
  • Candidates must have experience working with technology and machine learning science teams. Fraud Operations program managers are not encouraged to apply for this role.
