Our client, a well-established business in Seattle, WA, specializing in innovative project design for an elite clientele, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will improve company processes, drive technical direction, and manage projects of varying sizes.


The base salary for this role ranges from $145k to $170k, depending on skills and experience. Additionally, our client offers medical plans, a 401k, PTO, and other wellness and training programs.


Duties will include:


  • Lead the planning, execution, and governance of technical projects and programs, ensuring alignment with our clients strategy, managing scope, schedule, resources, and risks, and ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to define project goals, manage prioritized deliverables, and communicate effectively to drive change and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversee project finances, capacity planning, and resource tracking, ensuring effective management and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, building dynamic teams, providing guidance and support, and driving process improvements and best practices for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor project portfolio performance, review key metrics, address deviations, and ensure the incorporation and execution of non-functional requirements like reliability, scalability, and security.


To be successful in the role, you will need:


  • A background working in a technical program manager role on either firmware or electrical projects.
  • Leadership experience in guiding teams through multidisciplinary relationships, particularly in product management and engineering.
  • Extensive experience in driving the full product lifecycle and achieving success metrics, especially in startup-like environments.
  • Successful track record in managing high-visibility cross-team projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with medium to large-scale systems.
  • Experience in the product development lifecycle with electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or System Engineering, or a related field.
