Woodcraft Hospitality, a vibrant and rapidly expanding hospitality furniture supplier in Lombard, IL, is actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Jr. Logistic Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position is based on-site.

As a Jr. Logistic Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various logistic functions within Woodcraft's operations. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments of varying sizes, monitoring delivery schedules for containers, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international packages of all sizes.
  • Update shipment statuses promptly in our ERP system.
  • Obtain freight quotes from 3PL and other logistic suppliers.
  • Inspect shipment accuracy and condition prior to reshipment.
  • Relabel received sample products before reshipping to customers.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to repackage received shipments.
  • Assist project managers in submitting inquiries for product samples needed from local and international suppliers.
  • Create all necessary documentation for shipments.
  • Support our Overseas Supplier Chain Manager in communicating with domestic suppliers to obtain necessary shipment information.
  • Track all furniture shipments from overseas and update the ERP system accordingly.
  • Resolve transportation and logistics issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
  • Organize the design and sample library.
