A growing Overland Park company is looking for a hands-on Human Resources Manager to add to its team. Great benefits

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:

  • Lead onboarding, training, development, and performance reviews for employees
  • Manage employee relations and any questions or concerns they may have come up
  • Verify all employee compliance documents for new and existing employees.
  • Collect/complete I-9 documents.
  • Manage and explain employee benefits; understand COBRA and workers' comp
  • Handle safety training for employees
  • Oversee the payroll process
  • Use resources appropriately to comply with benefits, compliance, employment requirements, policies, programs, and routine business matters.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive employee experience and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience with benefits administration
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgment
