Sales Engineer - BIW Department
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our Body in White (BIW) department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering and sales, with a focus on industrial automation and robotics. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to develop client relationships, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet departmental goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automotive BIW sector.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide technical support and develop custom solutions for clients.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to support sales activities and project implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales within the automotive or industrial automation industry.
- Strong knowledge of Body in White (BIW) processes and automotive manufacturing.
- Excellent technical understanding and the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
