To further strengthen our strategic sales team, we are looking for a Director of sales to manage a team of Account Managers to drive revenue growth and funnel Design-in/Design wins for Strategic Assigned Accounts in the automotive area. The location will be office based in the San Jose office, covering customers in California (San Diego, LA, and Silicon Valley area).

This person should have the ability to work with executive management within the BUs, internal sales resources and across functional and global teams to manage a growing strategic account:

  • Drive team to discover new design activity
  • Possess analytical skills to accurately track and forecast revenue
  • Speak technically with Executive Management at customers as well as engineers to design-in technology on new design opportunities
  • Think strategically to drive team to focus on the highest growth opportunities
  • Have the ability to grow and foster the executive relationships within the strategic accounts which include executive leadership, engineering leadership and design engineers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Director responsible for revenue growth and design funnel growth
  • Direct responsibility managing team to drive Opportunity discovery, Design In, and Design Win revenue conversion – full funnel management
  • Manage and direct team to process RFQ´s and lead quotation processes
  • Manage and direct team on strategy to negotiate annual price adjustments (billing within the budget period, multi-year revenue plan)
  • Responsible to manage team and drive team to produce accurate forecasting customer revenue monthly, as well as communicate to internal leadership
  • Drive team to develop, execute and review account strategy with management
  • Support account team to drive design wins directly and with ODM collaboration in other regions
  • Along with managing the teams, work within a team environment to manage and interact with resources across multiple cross-functional teams and regions
  • Highly motivated drive team strategies to sell solution-based silicon
Qualifications

inimum Requirements:

  • Degree required, BSEE or equivalent
  • 7 -10 years industry experience
  • Some travel required
