Job Description

Summary: Responsible to develop sales within the entire One Stop catalog of products with an emphasis on our textile decoration supply products. Provide technical support for all our textile supply products to customers and coworkers. Grow sales within the ink and supply product lines within your individual accounts. Focuses on creating loyalty to One Stop through consistent contact and building a personal relationship.

Supply Technical Advisor Essential Functions:

  • Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of our ink and supplies product lines and effectively present products to customers.
  • Provide tech support to customers through troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues.
  • Provide similar technical support to your coworkers to aid their day-to-day conversations with their customers.
  • Increase sales when serving as a resource to customers by answering questions on product use and making product recommendations.
  • Informing customers and associates of new and notable products.
  • Help move through discontinued products by finding customers in need of those supplies.
  • Keep SDS resource binders updated.
  • Review the website daily to make sure all item descriptions and SDS sheets are current.
  • Ensure limited quantity/ hazardous supplies are displayed correctly on the website and in our company software.
  • Look to provide links or articles for tips and tricks, videos, and self-help for customers to be used on our website.
  • Coordinate and manage available product samples for customer and sales requests.
  • Coordinate special supply orders with the Customer Service Department.
  • Follow up on custom ink orders to ensure satisfaction with the color mix.
  • Responsible for assisting the marketing department in the proofing of the annual supply catalog; focusing on updated product descriptions, helpful tips, and general typos and inaccuracies.
  • Listen to customers’ feedback to provide suggestions to the merchandise planning manager on new products and brands to distribute.

Inside Sales Essential Functions:

  • Increase sales using personalized aggressive attention that exceeds customer expectations without pressure. Monitor, review, and identify monthly decreases and increases in individual account sales, determine the cause of the decrease/increase, and work with the customer to grow their sales. Build loyalty between One Stop and the customer with consistent and frequent contact.
  • Work to make One Stop the primary vendor of choice for new and current accounts.
  • Call and inform your assigned accounts at least once per month of current and upcoming sales, and all other events. Adhere to the outbound call procedures for both groups. Make note of the conversation in the inside sales spreadsheet
  • Complete follow-up courtesy calls on all OD’s and large orders ensuring that the customer has been taken care of.
  • Assist customers with their projects and make product recommendations. Work with the Buying Department on special pricing and special orders. Make follow-up calls on special pricing requests to encourage the sale. Complete follow-up calls on special orders that have been shipped ensuring that the customer has been taken care of.
  • Identify, resolve, and record consistent patterns of customer issues and ideas with One Stop. Be an attentive sympathetic listener and inform your direct supervisor of such issues and requests.
  • Enter orders for the outside sales department. Act as direct support for the outside sales Reps.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Minimum qualifications:

  • An associate degree in a related field and/or three years in a customer sales environment is required.
  • Customer service experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the textile screen-printing industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
