Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading project teams, developing and executing project plans, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Role Description:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring project profitability.
  • Manage project resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal allocation and utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate regularly with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and proactive strategies to minimize project impacts.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure construction projects meet quality standards and client requirements.
  • Manage project changes, including scope changes, budget adjustments, and schedule modifications, ensuring proper documentation and communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, motivating and empowering team members to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management roles within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects.
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to complex project challenges.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project management and construction.
