Job Summary: The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within scope, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members, managing stakeholders, and ensuring that all project objectives are met according to the company's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets. Ensure that project objectives are clearly defined and communicated.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, assign tasks, and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against milestones and deliverables. Adjust project plans as necessary to meet changing requirements and priorities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication with all stakeholders, including project team members, senior management, and clients. Provide regular status updates and reports.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that products and services are delivered on time and meet project requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project reviews.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and contribute to the development of best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 15+years of experience managing IT projects, including software development, infrastructure, or system integration projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Candidate must be local to GA.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
