Description: Our client is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic Project Team. In this role, you will uphold a comprehensive understanding of construction projects and ensure the meticulous execution of contract requirements. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Administrator to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Project Managers in planning and executing construction and renovation projects.
  • Plan and oversee daily construction activities.
  • Establish and manage the project budget and schedule.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures within the allocated budget.
  • Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Manage the processing of invoices and payments promptly.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with the Senior Project Manager and Site Superintendent.
  • Draft and finalize subcontract agreements according to project scope requirements.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors to secure competitive prices within budget constraints.
  • Review project drawings and specifications to ensure a thorough understanding of contract obligations.
  • Address construction challenges swiftly and efficiently.
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns quickly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Generate regular reports on construction progress and financial status for the management team.
  • Continuously seek professional development opportunities through workshops, trainings, and conferences.
  • Proactively identify potential delays or problems in construction projects and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to develop comprehensive project plans, including quality assurance and safety protocols.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Project Manager as needed.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and mediation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, capable of identifying inconsistencies in contracts.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 per year
