Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management and Reporting:

    • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
    • Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management on key financial metrics.
  2. Financial Controls and Compliance:

    • Establish and enforce financial controls and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
    • Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess adherence to financial procedures and identify areas for improvement.

  4. Cash Flow Management and Treasury Operations:

    • Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and investment strategies to optimize cash resources.
    • Monitor banking relationships and ensure compliance with banking covenants and agreements.
    • Oversee treasury operations including banking transactions, credit facilities, and foreign exchange management.
  5. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the financial operations team.
    • Ensure adequate staffing levels and resource allocation to support operational objectives.
  6. Strategic Planning and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and long-term financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
    • Present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership and board of directors.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or CPA/CMA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations in the industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
