This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week.
Under the guidance of the Staff Services Manager III, the role serves as the head of the Financial Operations Office.
The selected candidate will oversee the preparation of financial reports and various reconciliations across all funds; manage FI$Cal operations, which encompass cost allocation, month-end closing, and maintaining the chart of accounts.
This role is tasked with planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the team to ensure that the department's financial objectives are achieved in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, as well as state and federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that directly addresses each of the numbered items outlined. Responses should include specific examples of education, training, and experience, limited to three (3) pages, single-spaced, in twelve-point Arial font.
Applicants should detail their experience managing a departmental budget, including the size of the budget and the number of funds managed.
Experience in developing contracts, including reviewing and editing scopes of work and collaborating with stakeholders, should also be described.
Furthermore, candidates should provide a detailed account of their experience with data management and reporting, particularly in relation to complex data analysis at an executive level.
