Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structures.
- Supervise daily operations of the accounting department staff.
- Ensure timely reporting of all financial information, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Facilitate accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analytics.
- Evaluate departmental workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage fixed asset records to ensure accurate documentation and depreciation.
- Guide staff on handling complex reporting transactions.
- Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and procedures.
- Research accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee audit requests and ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting procedures and systems.
- Supervise accounting staff to meet all financial reporting deadlines.
- Provide training and support to both new and existing staff.
- Engage in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to set annual goals and monitor progress for professional development.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) is a plus.
Compensation: $130,000
