The Application Support Engineer is also expected to assist with the installation, support, and maintenance of the enterprise applications and systems within the Credit Union.

As a Full-Time Application Support Engineer at SC State Credit Union, you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment where your daily contributions matter. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring application performance, troubleshooting, and administration of server-based applications. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency. Expect to engage with various software applications, resolving technical issues, and documenting solutions to build a robust knowledge base. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and maintain concise and relevant systems documentation
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain information and resolve problems when appropriate.
  • Provide front-end support to end users as requested

Applicants must have 7 years' work experience in computer related field and advanced knowledge of pertinent systems, hardware, and software. Bachelor's degree in related computer technology area or equivalent education and experience is required. Prior management experience and applicable industry certifications are preferred.
