Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our dynamic team. The Event Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution, from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and execute events according to client specifications and budget

- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and event set-up and breakdown

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other event partners

- Create event proposals, timelines, and budgets

- Oversee event marketing and promotion efforts

- Coordinate event staff and volunteers

- Ensure all event details are executed smoothly and efficiently

- Conduct post-event evaluations and make recommendations for future events

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

- Manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management

- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing events

- Excellent organizational and project management skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

- Knowledge of Woodside, NY and surrounding areas is a plus
