Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team at Starlets, a premiere nightclub in NYC You will be responsible for managing our social media presence, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase brand awareness.

Part-time with the opportunity to grow into full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, create and execute daily engaging content on our Instagram, Facebook & TikTok pages. 
  • Collaborate/communicate with internal teams (management, photographers, videographers, bartenders, other staff) to ensure brand consistency and to stay informed of club activities.
  • Plan and promote upcoming events, shows, cultural parades, and holidays to maximize customer awareness.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and strategies to keep us ahead of the competition. 
  • Ensure timely content posting.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on engagement and provide insights for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • This will be a HYBRID position. Most work will be done from home, but you will spend approximately 5 hours a week in the club.
  • Previous experience in Social Media Marketing, preferably in nightlife or hospitality industry. 
  • Proficient in creating and editing video content for social medium platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Understanding of current social media trends, algorithms and engagement tracking.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (MANDATORY).
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
