Requirements for a Talent Acquisition Manager:

  • Associates Degree in Human Resources, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three (3) or more years' experience with an emphasis in recruitment and retention.
  • Recruitment in health care industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, efficient in time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications, using HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems required.
  • Customer service focused.

Responsibilities for a Talent Acquisition Manager:

  • Strategically lead full cycle talent acquisition process for Friendly Senior Living.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and action plans.
  • Oversees Talent Acquisition Specialist position and directs daily workflow.
  • Plan, manage, and attend internal and external networking events in the community to represent FSL brand and connect with community talent.
  • Build community networks to find qualified candidates, attending career fairs for recruiting and organization recognition.
  • Coordinate college recruiting initiatives; develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.
  • Develop plans that drive overall talent acquisition process, quality of hiring, and time to fill goals.
  • Design content for advertisements, social media, and print media related to employment opportunities, in conjunction with marketing department.
  • Maintains all applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Applicant Tracking System to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Maintains organizational reports on all vacant positions and provides weekly report updates.
  • Review all clinical applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews for all clinical applicants.
  • Prepares and presents job offer packages to clinical candidates.
  • Conduct ongoing follow-up with department heads to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Reviews and maintains updated job descriptions.
  • Adheres to the budget process and meets departmental budget.
  • Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
