Position Overview:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in fulfilling staffing orders and upholding the company's value proposition. This position will also provide vital support to the branch by leading, mentoring, and developing a team of recruitment professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in branch operations and recruitment initiatives.
  • Assist in addressing branch challenges and managing escalated client concerns.
  • Provide leadership to the branch team during the absence of senior management.
  • Facilitate daily meetings to ensure the team remains focused on achieving order fulfillment targets.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies, including community engagement with educational institutions and leveraging social media platforms.
  • Create compelling job postings to attract both active and passive candidates through various job boards.
  • Screen, interview, and recommend candidates to meet staffing needs.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of candidates for all positions and ensure the candidate database is current.
  • Utilize active candidates effectively to enhance order fulfillment.
  • Employ data-driven insights to set realistic expectations for timely position filling.
  • Utilize market knowledge and client requirements to successfully match qualified candidates with job openings.
  • Guide candidates through the interview process, considering their experiences, skills, and availability.
  • Oversee the full vetting process for candidates and document all recruitment activities.
  • Conduct necessary background checks, drug screenings, and I-9 verifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in staffing or recruitment in a high-volume environment.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated experience navigating diverse recruitment processes.
  • Proven success in client engagement and relationship management.
  • Familiarity with various platforms and dashboards to inform decision-making.
  • Experience in community service or social outreach initiatives.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to the audience and purpose.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology platforms to enhance decision-making.
