Guided by our core values of Compassion, Dedication, Friendliness, Innovation, and Respect, and under the supervision of the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers, the Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Consultant plays a crucial role in networking, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and securing top-tier talent for ESLC, paving the way for meaningful, long-term employment.

Compensation Range: $62,000 - $68,000 annually (Compensation may vary based on relevant experience for the role.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborates proactively with hiring managers to create effective and innovative recruitment strategies and action plans.
  • Designs effective electronic applicant pre-screening questions and posts job openings on the Applicant Tracking System, social media, and with community partners, educational institutions, and vocational schools.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance internal recruitment processes.
  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with regional educational institutions (high schools, colleges, vocational schools) and community partners.
  • Partners with agencies to identify and onboard nursing contract workers to fill open shifts at assisted living communities.
  • Conducts pre-screening of potential candidates through application reviews, licensing checks, and/or phone interviews; submits the most qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration.
  • Ensures candidates meet all required pre-offer contingencies and prepares and delivers verbal and written (contingent) job offers.
  • Coordinates in-person or virtual interviews for hiring managers as needed.
  • Completes offer packets and manages the onboarding process with hiring managers in preparation for candidates' first day of employment, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Represents ESLC at off-site events (job fairs, networking events, professional association gatherings, etc.).
  • May be responsible for maintaining and distributing various reports related to recruitment and applicants.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • PHR Certification is a plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or recruiting is required.
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-volume recruitment needs.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
  • Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing home recruiting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms for recruitment purposes is preferred.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with both social/in-person and electronic networking, fostering effective recruiting partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate recruiting and onboarding events.
  • A strong team player who can also work independently.

SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP: This role operates within established guidelines and requires periodic supervision. The employee exercises autonomy, initiative, and independent judgment to effectively fulfill the essential job duties of this position.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES: Employees must be familiar with all safety policies and procedures of the Episcopal Church Home, Assisted Living, and Independent Living communities. Participation in all fire drills and emergency preparedness activities is required. Compliance with facility in-service requirements is mandatory.
