Summary

The Financial Operations Specialist – Funding role is a cross-functional position that serves the Corporate Finance team in a variety of accounting and operating activities. By working closely with the Financial Operations Lead and Financial Operations – Receipts team, the position ensures the team adheres to our established processes and procedures. The position requires basic accounts payable knowledge, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail and reports to the Financial Operations Lead.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Processes checks, ACH payments, and wires
  • Research and resolve issues.
  • Work with stop loss payments – reconcile/record/communicate
  • Responds to vendor and internal inquiries accurately and timely.
  • Facilitates ACH for Void Transaction refunds to clients.
  • Assist in automation and process improvement.
  • Lucent Health retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong organization and time management skills; effectively handling multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Aptitude for working independently and within a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to think creatively and offer new solutions.
  • Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Years of Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years related finance experience and/or training.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred but not required.

Working Environment:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Some travel may be required.
