Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

Account Reconciliation:
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and various general ledger accounts.

  • Oversee and follow up on accounts receivable to ensure prompt payments.
General Ledger Management:
  • Preserve the integrity of the general ledger by accurately documenting transactions and allocating expenses.

Tax Compliance:
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during audit processes.
Financial Analysis:
  • Perform financial analyses to aid decision-making and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Compile reports and presentations for management review.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades to financial processes and procedures.
Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations.
Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Human Resources.
  • Provide accounting support and guidance to other departments as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Fintech or financial organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Google Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in reconciliation of financial records.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
