Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
- Generate and evaluate monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and various general ledger accounts.
- Examine and resolve discrepancies and variances.
- Manage vendor invoices and employee expense claims.
- Oversee and follow up on accounts receivable to ensure prompt payments.
- Preserve the integrity of the general ledger by accurately documenting transactions and allocating expenses.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during audit processes.
- Perform financial analyses to aid decision-making and identify areas for enhancement.
- Compile reports and presentations for management review.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
- Recommend and implement upgrades to financial processes and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Human Resources.
- Provide accounting support and guidance to other departments as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Fintech or financial organizations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Google Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in reconciliation of financial records.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
