Aspire Audiology and Hearing Center a privately-owned Audiology practice in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. We are a brand new, state of the art Audiology practice that values service and helping our patients hear better above all else. We are seeking a sales-focused customer service or administrative front office professional who is passionate about helping people and interested in developing a career in the field of Audiology. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in our clinic’s daily operations. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:

  • Schedule Management
    • Manage patients scheduling and confirming appointments, follow-ups, and manage patient inquiries.
  • Insurance verifications & prior authorizations
    • Call insurance companies to verify patient benefits as and when needed
  • Maintain patient records & manage patient charts
    • Organizing, scanning and uploading intake forms and other patient documents.
    • Extensive Customer Service utilizing email, phone calls, and in-person interactions
  • Phone Line Management
    • Manage phone lines and ensure all calls are handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Patient Engagement
    • Engage with patients to understand their hearing needs and build strong rapport. Provide basic information about services provided and the benefits of choosing our clinic.
  • Objection Handling:
    • Resolve patient concerns effectively while highlighting the benefits of our exceptional service. Address common objections and provide clear, concise information to alleviate concerns.
  • New Patient Acquisition:
    • Encourage all patients who call in to choose our care by emphasizing our quality of care and personalized service.
    • Respond to and follow up on potential new patient inquiries to convert them into appointments.
  • Other Administrative Duties:
    • inventory management, supply ordering, payments/refunds, and maintaining accurate patient records.
    • Ensure high standards of patient service and smooth operational flow.

To ensure success candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients or customers
  • Proficiency with MS-Office & other medical practice software
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
  • Business school or associate degree also preferred
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a medical environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
