Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Excellence: Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly demeanor. Provide accurate information about items for sale, pricing, and store policies. Ensure a positive shopping experience for all.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Act as a supportive liaison for our volunteers, providing them with guidance, assistance, and appreciation for their contributions.
  • Operational Support: Skillfully operate the cash register, managing transactions with accuracy and integrity. Receive, sort, and prepare donated items for sale, maintaining a high standard of quality and organization.
  • Heavy Lifting: Safely lift and move furniture and heavy items, demonstrating care and responsibility for the items and your safety.
  • Recycling Initiatives: Take charge of recycling efforts, identifying items that can be recycled and ensuring they are processed correctly, supporting our commitment to environmental stewardship.
  • Cleaning and Preparation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales areas, ensuring items are attractively displayed and ready for sale.
