As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our communication center, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between departments and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train new hires to ensure they are equipped to handle the daily responsibilities of the communication center.
- Manage Scheduling and Operations: Schedule and manage the provision of phone repair services, as well as coordinate the care and maintenance of departmental equipment.
- Resolve Caller Complaints: Handle and resolve caller complaints in a timely and professional manner, acknowledging complaints within 24 hours.
- Implement Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in quality improvement activities, including the development and implementation of hospital and department policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Coordinate Translation Services: Ensure that staff schedules and documents in-person translation services for individuals who are non-English speakers and hearing impaired.
- Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and train staff.
- Operational Management Experience: Proven experience in operational management, with a focus on communication and coordination.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
