Position Summary
The Workforce Development Program Manager will support the oversight of and compliance with federal and state regulations for all AMIkids Pre-Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship programs. In coordination with AMIkids Home Office, the Workforce Development Program Manager will provide direction and support to ensure adherence to the AMIkids Personal Growth Model as well as direct the management and supervision of all related program operations while providing effective leadership, coaching and development to Team Members
Essential Job Duties
- Manage all program administrative and human resource systems in an effective and efficient manner,
- Provide general supervision and evaluation to program leaders and advise them in the planning, organization, and implementation of program operations,
- Direct and coordinate performance management including coaching and future performance development,
- Assist with the recruitment process for Program Team Members, e.g., conducting interviews, coordinating tours and pre-employment assessments, and the hiring process,
- Assist in policy development,
- Work directly with contracting agencies in communicating program policies, rules, and regulations,
- Work closely with Executive Directors and Operations staff to ensure compliance with federal and state compliance as related to educational, workforce development, behavioral and mental health programs,
- Monitor project implementation and conduct internal program audits to ensure compliance and adherence to local and state regulations, and AMIkids procedures, policies, and best practices,
- Review audit data, identify relevant action plans and establish internal controls in ensure timely responses and progressive actions,
- Assist in the development and revision of Operations policies and procedures make recommendations based on knowledge of the projects and programs,
- Support success of the initiative, guide and assist internal and external parties in the implementation of the programs, to include coordinating, recruiting, selection and placement of youth into pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship
- May travel for work related duties,
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education or related training,
- Minimum three (3) years Operations related experience, Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience, two (2) years preferred,
- Effective problem-solving skills,
- Effective verbal and written communication skills,
- Resourceful in identifying and obtaining related regulations and standards,
- Presentation skills,
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
