The Sales Consultant - Digital Marketing position is responsible for making outbound prospecting calls to leads and/or clients, selling ProSites portfolio of website design and marketing solutions while meeting or exceeding sales quotas. The Sales Consultant - Digital Marketing role’s primary focus is to partner with prospects and current clients to foster an understanding of current client needs and buying trends, then actualizing this data in the form of closing sales. This includes cross-selling value-added services like SEO, PPC, Content and as well as Practice Solution Software. Sales Consultants specialize in one of four areas: Dental, Veterinary, Accounting or Small Legal Practice sales.

Sales Consultant - Digital Marketing compensation includes 50% base and 50% uncapped variable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound prospecting calls daily to potential and/or existing clients.
  • Serve as a partner to our clients by building relationships with clients for long-term growth of accounts and success.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly individual sales quotas are exceeded by selling websites and digital marketing services to drive leads to our clients sites (ie SEO, PPC, LSA)
  • Record daily sales activities within our CRM (Salesforce) appropriately to monitor client engagement, sales funnel development, qualify prospects, build pipelines, and capture key data points to enable accurate sales reporting.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments of current clients, emphasizing features that clients express a need in or that align with their desired business goals.
  • Educate current clients on how to successfully integrate the Internet into their Marketing efforts.
  • In some cases, attend exhibitor booths at various tradeshows as needed.

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of successful quota-carrying technology-based or digital marketing sales experience.
  • Inside Sales experience.
  • Ability to provide clear and comprehensive written documentation using MS Office.
  • Ability to provide high quality communication that is respectful and professional.
  • Applications and CRM System (e.g. Salesforce.com, HubSpot, MS Dynamics, NetSuite) experience.
  • General understanding of and sufficient level of comfort with internet technology, SEO, digital marketing.
  • General understanding of and sufficient level of comfort with Dental, Veterinary or Legal practice management ideal for some roles
  • Must be able to balance customer service approach with sales approach.
  • Persistent and able to handle objections professionally.
  • Thrives in self-directed, self-driven sales environment.
  • Comfortable working remotely
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required as this is a full-time position.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job:

  • Prolonged periods of sedentary movement.
  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary.
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Certain management positions might be required to occasional travel.
