Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Receivable Management:
    • Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
    • Monitor and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
    • Develop and implement effective accounts receivable policies and procedures.
  1. Customer Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payment.
    • Address and resolve customer billing issues and discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to manage customer accounts effectively.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular accounts receivable reports to senior management.
    • Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Provide forecasts and projections for cash flow based on accounts receivable data.
  1. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor accounts receivable staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow within the accounts receivable team.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.
    • Utilize technology and software solutions to streamline accounts receivable processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and accounts receivable modules.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or related certification.
