As the Director of Construction based in Washington, DC, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing the construction process for our projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Lead the planning and execution of multiple high-end residential construction projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements, and oversee their implementation.
  • Financial Management:
    • Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial goals and profitability targets.
    • Implement cost-saving measures and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Schedule and Resource Management:

  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Stakeholder Communication:

  • Team Leadership and Development:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in luxury residential construction management, demonstrating a successful track record of overseeing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, methodologies, and industry standards, with a focus on luxury residential development.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools, including scheduling, budgeting, and project management systems.
