The successful candidate will have a strong hands-on approach to lead our active production team and play a crucial role in managing and driving production, enhancing efficiency, ensuring safety compliance, developing staff, and delivering high-quality output to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of our galvanizing facility, ensuring processes are efficient and productive.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures aimed at improving operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Lead and manage a diverse operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and collaboration.
  • Implement employee development programs, including training, coaching, and mentoring, to improve team skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments (such as sales, logistics, and HR) to create integrated business plans and promote a cohesive organizational culture.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure all equipment is functional, compliant with safety standards, and optimized for operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and maximize plant efficiency.
  • Regularly assess operations for efficiency and make necessary adjustments to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Report on operational performance, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
  • Ensure the proper training of new hires in different departments.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Production Lead, ideally within a galvanizing or similar industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of industry safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, including the ability to develop and mentor staff.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in operation management software and standard office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines.
