Maxxon is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to support the development and maintenance of product/competitive insights, and product collateral to support go-to-market activities for new and existing products. This role requires a blend of strong project management, copywriting, and proofreading.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market & Audience Insights: Assist in conducting research and gathering insights to inform product marketing strategies. Analyze market trends and competitive intelligence to fine-tune marketing approaches and deliver regional and/or market trend data by region.
  2. Product Positioning & Messaging: Collaborate in crafting and maintaining product messaging toolkit that articulates the unique benefits and features of Maxxon's products, tailored to different segments and target audiences. Work closely with internal teams and content creators and provide copy direction, proofing, and edits to ensure all marketing communications from ad copy to product descriptions are aligned with the agreed-upon messaging framework.
  3. New Product Development: Participate in assessing market needs and customer feedback to inform the ideation and development of new products. Prepare marketing materials and training sessions for internal teams to ensure a coherent understanding of the new product’s value proposition and features.
  4. Go-to-Market Execution: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring they are in line with overall product strategy and messaging. Develop and provide sales teams with essential tools, such as product cheat sheets, product comparisons or battlecards, FAQs, and presentations, to support their sales efforts.
  5. Collateral Development, Management & Maintenance: Aid in the ongoing review and revision process of marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and ensuring effective version control. Develop AIA presentations and manage CEU credit and communication process.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in evaluating and enhancing marketing resources and practices, including leveraging new technologies to improve efficiency. Own migration of existing data from legacy platforms to new platforms.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, marketing communications, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with PIM/DAM management systems is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research, analyze market trends, and provide insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with experience in copywriting, proofreading, and crafting compelling product messaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage, and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and brand consistency in all marketing materials.
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency, a strong passion for marketing, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Experience in the construction industry or marketing technical products is a plus.
