Community Partnership Assistant

Position Overview
The Community Partnership Assistant assists the Partnership Engagement Producer in developing and maintaining show-specific cultural, civic, and artistic partnerships with local and national organizations, businesses, and community groups. This position contributes administratively to the Partnership division, promoting community activation, inclusivity, and conversation. Major administrative projects may include but are not limited to audience enrichment, pre/post-show discussions, and the annual Community Day. The successful candidate will be an organized, proactive individual passionate about community engagement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Partnership Engagement Producer including identifying potential partnerships, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain organized records of community partnerships, agreements, and relevant documentation.
Communication and Liaison:
- Act as a liaison between Arena Stage and community partners, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Assist in drafting communication materials, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Event Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of community events, workshops, and meetings in collaboration with community partners.
- Collaborate with the Production and Events Department on logistics, including venue arrangements, materials preparation, and participant communication.
- Assist in the planning and preparation for Arena Stage's Community Day.
Data Management and Evaluation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases of community partners, contacts, and engagement activities across multiple departments.
- Provide reports and assessments to measure engagement efforts' success and identify improvement areas.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to community partnerships for reporting purposes and participant feedback.
Community Day Support:
- Assist in outreach efforts to engage new community partners and strengthen existing relationships.
- Participate in community meetings and events to represent the organization and gather feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of related work in events or hospitality.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Knowledge of community organizing.
- Events/Hospitality experience preferred.
