Job Description

Field Supervisors are responsible for the direct oversight of employees of a designated account and/or on a designated shift. To include ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met. This is a standing post & driving post, with constant patrolling of the Terminal, Ramp, and Cargo Area. 2 years of Janitorial Supervisor experience required.

Location: 3400 Sky Hbr Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85034
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $22/hr

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Position Summary:

Field Supervisors are responsible for the direct oversight of employees of a designated account and/or on a designated shift.  To include ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met. This is a standing post & driving post, with constantly patrolling of the Terminal, Ramp, Cargo Area.

Essential Job Functions: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Assist with the training of the cleaning team. Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building 
Manage security of keys and access cards for the property .Report work orders for maintenance. Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager. check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Complete order forms completely and accurately.
Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Physical Demands

Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks. 
Ensure that shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered. 
Accommodate increased / decreased client staffing requests. 
Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy 
Represent ABM by participating in client briefings and communicating with Client representatives on a frequent basis regarding operations. 
Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
Maintain daily shift report for managers.
Perform basic administrative, payroll and Attendance functions (as required).
Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.
Effectively coach, counsel, and discipline employees. 
Conduct Safety and Quality audits. 
Work with Safety Quality Manager to ensure the safety, security, and quality of the operation.
Ensure front-line employee compliance with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. 
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

Language Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public. Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills.
Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. 
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
General Company Requirements:

Employee must comply with the Company's uniform and grooming standards and must always wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID.
Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the ABM Team Member National Handbook & the New York Supplemental Handbook.
License / Certificates:

Valid 8 hours annual in-service training certificate 16 hours OJT certificate
Valid State Driver License
Qualifications:

2 years of Janitorial Supervisor experience required.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a Valid Driver's License
Must submit to and pass a drug screen.
High School or Equivalency needed.
Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable)
