SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The primary role of the Lot Acquisition Coordinator for our Corporate Division. The right candidate will be responsible for administering all aspects of contract and closing duties by performing the duties listed below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review HUDs prior to closing.
  • Coordination with title attorneys in each market to manage deadlines.
  • Enter post-closing information.
  • Prepare and maintain closing packages, ensure they are delivered on time.
  • Daily communication with Land teams and/or title companies
  • Communicate and follow-up with title and division land team to ensure timely closings.
  • Set up lot closings with attorney's office.
  • File and maintain records received post-closing.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum one (1) year of construction experience in homebuilding or related real estate industry, or applicable construction management training
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the job responsibilities, the employee is required to talk and hear. Vision abilities required by the job are close vision.
