Association Headquarters is in search of a skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our HR department in the development and execution of HR strategy, policies, and objectives. The Human Resources Specialist will perform daily functions and transactions required of the Human Resources (HR) department. This includes, but is not limited to, support of payroll, benefits, employee engagement, onboarding/offboarding, HR compliance, and the training and development processes in support of the Director of Human Resources.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONSTo be considered for this position, the online application must be submitted, along with an updated resume. All applicable fields on the application are required.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPayroll Support:Work in collaboration with Senior Accountant/Payroll Manager for AH payroll productionResponsible for HR client payroll processesProvide time and attendance support, including but not limited to new employee trainingAudit I-9 formsSet up new hire data in payroll systems for AH and HR-supported clients to include:W4, I9, Direct Deposit, Compensation, etc.Oversee temporary staff, including temporary to permanent transitionBenefits Support - AH and HR Clients:Support Director of Human Resources with general benefit support, including annual enrollment and benefit invoice auditingReconcile the monthly benefits invoices for accuracy and investigate /correct any discrepancies in a timely mannerSupport staff with day-to-day benefits assistance and questionsResponsible for planning and supporting wellness initiativesGeneral HR SupportProactively maintain and audit HR employee files, both electronic and hard copiesProvide reporting and analytics on KPI metricsRespond to general HR-related inquiries from AH staffResponsible for E-verify process implementation and complianceProcess employment verification requestsEmployee Job Description maintenanceSupport the Director of Human Resources with administrative and employee engagement matters that will include but are not limited to performance management, training and development for staff, employee offboarding, etc.Provide staff with policy and procedure guidancePrepare and process department invoices in BILLMaintain 45 and 90-day review tracking systemMaintain HR internal calendar and schedules for daily, weekly, and annual eventsParticipation and support of New Employee School activitiesReception coverage as neededWhat You'll Bring to the Table - Education, Experience, and Required ProficienciesBachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required3 - 5 years of Human Resources experienceKnowledge of general principles and practices of human resource managementMS Office proficiencyDemonstrates a sense of urgency, professional and confidential conduct, organizational skills, and exceptional written and oral communication skillsWhat we offer - Employee Company BenefitsHybrid / Flexible work schedules availableMedical, Dental, and VisionCompany-paid basic life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityVoluntary Life Insurance - Employee PaidAFLAC availablePaid Time Off (PTO) accrual and Paid holidays401k retirement plan availableOn-site Fitness Center, open 24/7Gym reimbursement programTraining and Development opportunitiesWhat sets us apartNamed Best Place to Work by Philadelphia Business Journal 9 Times - based on a survey conducted of our employeesIndustry Leader - Most credentialed AMC and the 1st AMC to be Customer Service Certified by the Customer Service Institute of AmericaWho is AH?AH is a professional services firm that specializes in helping non-profit organizations achieve their mission, create value, and advance their causes, industries, and professions.
