Job Title: Business Development Intern


Location: Boston, MA [In-office]


Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Entry-Level Business Development Executive to join our sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual eager to kickstart their career in business development by working with large enterprises. You will work closely under our Sales Manager to source potential clients, close deals, and contribute to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Sourcing & Outreach: Identify and research potential enterprise clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Lead Generation: Assist in generating leads and building a pipeline of prospects through targeted outreach efforts.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations, effectively communicating our value proposition.
  • Client Meetings: Schedule and participate in client meetings, both virtually and in person, to present our products and services, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Proposal Development: Work with the Sales Manager to create compelling proposals and presentations that align with client requirements.
  • Sales Closure: Support the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a seamless client experience and alignment on strategic goals.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel for client meetings, industry conferences, and networking events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • A go-getter attitude with a strong desire to learn and succeed in a sales environment.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical products and services to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and conferences.
  • Previous experience or internships in sales or business development is a plus but not required.
