Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to join our growing and dynamic construction management firm in Massachusetts, supporting the New England area. The ideal candidate will be a perceptive leader, highly motivated with a natural ability to foster strong relationships. The Project Executive provides overall leadership and direction on the construction project. Assuming overall accountability for jobsite safety and quality, the PX will oversee projects across the New England area leading business development efforts.


The successful candidate will demonstrate a decisive and energetic approach, tackling challenges with enthusiasm and resilience. A strong sense of ownership and accountability combines with a commitment to delivering high quality results, is essential.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all project phases, ensuring continuity and high standards. Manage risks, negotiate contracts, and oversee subcontract development. Attending owner meetings and site visits to monitor performance is key to provide leadership in addressing challenges and client concerns.
  • Team Management: Allocate resources to manage project scope, providing high-level leadership across multiple projects to ensure goals and objectives are met. Lead a diverse team, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages different perspectives and ideas.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and communicate RFP pursuit strategies to inform project approach. Also identify project challenges and suggest solutions to achieve project objectives and profitability.
  • Safety and Quality Assurance: Enforce safety protocols by enhancing existing comprehensive safety policies and communicating these efforts to the Project Management team. Fostering a strong safety culture and enforcing compliance across all project phases.
  • Business Development: Leverage industry contacts to generate leads and drive business development. Oversee the work acquisition process and development of proposals. Build and maintain relationships with clients throughout the project to foster communication and monitor team performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple projects
  • Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified
    Construction Manager (CCM).
  • CSL Preferred
  • OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certified
  • Self-perform experience
  • In depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations
  • Effective leadership abilities
