What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a highly established healthcare management organization serving over 80 locations in 24 states with approximately 3,000 employees. They are a dynamic and dedicated team based out of Vancouver, WA. As an Employee Relations Specialist you will focus on employee relations and other human resources functions and activities.
A day in the life:
- Serve as point of contact for employee questions and concerns proactively addressing employee issues and resolving conflict
- Recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers regarding performance management best practices including identifying training needs and organizing learning opportunities
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, and diversity training
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist with a focus in employee relations
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Ability to research and document employment issues and legal claims
- Ability to lead and conduct investigations related to employment issues, either on the phone or in person
Compensation and Benefits: $65K in annual compensation. Benefits include high quality, low-cost health plans for employees and dependents, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k with employer match
