Trust Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Operations Specialist to join our team at Riverview Bank. As a Trust Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for performing daily workflow duties and balancing, providing systems and process leadership, and assisting with cash management and trust accounting software accessibility issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust operations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily workflow duties and balancing
- Provide systems and process leadership
- Assist with cash management and trust accounting software accessibility issues
- Work on tax processing annually
- Provide support for the Trust department
- Perform simple to complex calculations required for trust accounting, income processing, and trade settlement
- Assist with problem solving as it pertains to client account management needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university preferred, and/or A.A. and three years prior experience in trust related business, accounting, or operations, or a combination of education and related experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in a professional manner
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
